In 2018, I transitioned immediately from a post-graduate pharmacist to a medical writer for one of the top medical device companies at the same time as entering the world of medical journalism, covering annual conferences for a global publication. Forging my way into industry with no prior experience, I steadily gained valuable experience with regulatory writing and medical conference coverage. Today, I am passionate about sharing my story and guiding pharmacy students into a realm less explored during their pharmacy school curriculum. I mentor and host students year round through internship and externship programs while also precepting industry-focused Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPEs) for current pharmacy school students.
